Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, Machu Picchu is a must-see tourist attraction.

Peru itself is a diverse country, featuring a beautiful Pacific coastline to the west and the majestic Andes mountains. The capital, Lima, boasts stunning views of the Pacific and a historical old town, while Cusco, the ancient Inca capital, showcases the glory of the empire at the height of its power.
